My name is Marilyn. I have been creating and sewing for many years now. Four years ago I was in the midst of decorating my new home and I happened upon Susie’s. From that moment on I knew that Primitive Décor was for me!
I visited Susie’s often and fell in love with the shoppe and all it has to offer. You will find me working in the shoppe now - I became a part of the Susie’s Bittersweet Treasures Family!
Designing and stitching on pillows came about due to my love for sewing. I make pillows with crows, flowers, and can hand stitch just about any saying on them! They really add a special touch – isn’t it nice to have a home that feels cozy and inviting! This year I created a tea towel that gives a custom look to anyone’s kitchen or bathroom! What a special gift to give for any occasion!
Tea Towels
Personalized tea towels are the newest addition to my line of embroidered creations. Sayings such as “Grandma’s Kitchen”, “Diane’s Kitchen”, and “The Smith’s Kitchen” – just to name a few - are found exclusively at Susie’s. You select the tea towel, you decide what you want it to read and we will create a decorative and unique one of a kind treasure for you to enjoy.
